Volume Two, the Author’s Afterword
To those meeting me for the first time and those meeting me for the second time, hello. I’m Yoneori, who loves meals three times a day and cooking. This time, I’ve been able to publish Volume 2 of "The Forsaken Saintess and her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World"! To be able to meet everyone again in book form like this—there is no greater joy than this!
Moreover, starting in September 2020, the manga serialization has begun in B’s-LOG COMIC and Isekai Comic! This is entirely thanks to the power of everyone’s support! Thank you so much! The person handling the manga adaptation is Kogami Nana-sensei, who also worked on the manga adaptation of "Tsukumogami For Rent"! The characters are cute, cool… and above all, so expressive as they run wild in the manga world too, so if you’re interested, please check it out!
In conjunction with the manga adaptation… well, not exactly for that reason, but I’ve tried my best with this volume too to stimulate everyone’s stomachs and make the descriptions sound as delicious as possible! Debating this and that along the way was very enjoyable. I hope the descriptions strike your appetite even a little.
Thanks to that, lately, when I’m doing regular shopping at the supermarket, I find myself constantly thinking about how I could cook things to make them seem like otherworld ingredients. These days, I wish there were otherworld ingredient recipe books or otherworld menu books.
Also, this time I was able to (finally?) introduce Gomamiso to everyone! I’m sure it will continue to freely perform kitten moves from now on. If any of you have cat episodes, I’d be happy if you’d secretly share them with me (laugh).
Regarding the publication of Volume 2, to my editor W-sama, who firmly guided me through this work as well. To Nito Akane-sama, who continued from Volume 1 to draw wonderful illustrations. And to the readers who read the previous volume and this one, and to the readers who are reading the web version of this work on "Shousetsuka ni Narou," I express my deep, deep gratitude.
If possible, I hope for the next volume… and if I may be greedy, it would be a joy beyond expectations if you’d stay with me until the completion.
I ask for your continued support of the hungry party and their cook!
