Volume Three, The Author’s Afterword
It’s been a while! As someone who dearly loves three meals a day, I’m happy to announce that the third volume of "The Forsaken Saintess and her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World" has been published!
This was only possible thanks to everyone’s support! Thank you so much!
Moreover, the first volume of the manga adaptation, illustrated by Kogami Nana-sensei, is being released in the same month! The adventures of the ever-hungry duo, Rin and Ville, are brought to life with expressive art and overflowing charm, revealing a whole new side to the story beyond the novel! The manga is being serialized in both B’s-LOG COMIC and Isekai Comic as well as in book form, so I highly recommend checking out both!
In the novel, a new hungry character has appeared, and I feel that Rin’s cooking skills have improved as well. While the second volume focused mainly on meat dishes, I included more fish-related recipes in the third volume! I hope I’ve managed to stimulate not only the princess dragon’s appetite but yours as well.
In these times when it’s difficult to casually go out or travel in the real world, I wrote hoping that readers could at least enjoy traveling through various countries in another world through the novel—fishing, soaking in hot springs, eating delicious food… I hope it gave you a little taste of being outdoors.
I think Gomamiso with its "This me~ this me~" adds a bit of flair to the story (laughs).
Lastly, I’d like to thank Editor, W-sama, who listened to my ideas, gave advice, and guided me in bringing this volume to completion. And to Nitou Akane-sensei, who captured moments from the novel and transformed them into stunningly cool yet adorable illustrations. And my deepest gratitude goes to all the readers who continue to read my stories! This book was made possible because of everyone’s support pushing me forward!
I’ll keep working hard to bring you Volume 4 and launch direct attacks on your stomachs! Please continue to support Rin and her merry companions on their journey!
